Welcome to Breck

Planning Your Breck Beyond Experience

From parking to the peaks, get ready for an easy, seamless ski and ride experience at Breckenridge Ski Resort. Breck Beyond is elevating the way you start and end your day at Breckenridge.

The transformed guest experience unfolds across an impressive Peak 8 base expansion. Gone are the days of taking an hour or two to get the kids dressed, finding ski school, schlepping the family to ticket windows and various gear rental areas scattered around the resort and town, finally getting on the mountain and half the day being gone.

The Breck Beyond experience welcomes skiers and riders with a new, seamless transition from arrival to slopes. Exit the BreckConnect gondola or hop off the Breck Freeride bus and walk up short ski-boot-friendly stairs to the spacious heated (that’s right—no slipping around!) slopeside plaza. Or, make it super easy for kiddos’ little legs and take the new heated escalator from street level to base level. There are also 20 new drop-off parking spots, allowing for quick and convenient ski school and daycare check-in.

Now that you’ve arrived at Peak 8, the heart of Breckenridge Ski Resort, pop into the new 22,000-square-foot slopeside guest services facility just steps from the Colorado SuperChair and Rocky Mountain SuperChair. Expanded indoor and outdoor ticket windows and the ability to redeem buddy passes and ski-with-a-friend vouchers online make lift tickets a breeze. The slopeside building’s natural flow brings you to equipment rentals and a fully stocked retail shop in case you forgot gloves, goggles, neck warmers or anything in between.

Downstairs, you’ll find state-of-the-art ski school facilities complete with cubbies, color-coded tables and chairs, a kitchen and kids gear rentals in one centralized space. Breckenridge Ski & Ride School serves up an array of lessons for the little ones. Choose from fun and supportive class options based on age, ability and interest. Multi-day lessons empower young skiers and single-day small group snowboard instruction brings kids together for on-the-snow fundamentals. Lessons are built to bring smiles and inspire the next generation of rippers.

Family on Peak 8

This simple-to-navigate consistent family experience means you can drop the kids off at ski school or daycare, grab your lift tickets and equipment, and hit the slopes in one swift motion. It’s vacation mode minimal thinking at its finest, delivering you to the hill faster than ever before.

At the end of the day, pick up a hot drink, Colorado beer or wine and snack from the new Peak 8 Ullr Café and watch the kids ski back down into ski school headquarters. Cap your Breck Beyond experience with laps around the new public ice skating rink overlooking the Continental Divide and Baldy Mountain. Rent skates and helmets at the adjacent Breck Blades and soak in the expansive countywide views.
