Breck’s Best Spring Break Nightlife Spots
If you came to Breck for Spring Break, it probably wasn’t just for the world-class skiing and riding. The scenery is second to none and so is Breckenridge’s bar scene. Whether you’re in the mood to dance ‘til you drop, rock out to live music, smoke your friends in ski ball at the arcade, drink by a fire or casually sip martinis, we’ve got you covered. Here’s a roundup of some of the best Spring Break nightlife spots in Breck.
The Historic Brown & Fox’s Den
Known as one of Breck’s premier music venues, The Brown features unparalleled fun and games. Compete on the air hockey table, lounge on sofas and play board games, dance to live music downstairs, play pool or hang out on the huge outdoor deck under a canopy of lights. This venue can also be rented for special occasions!
Blue Stag Saloon
The Stag boasts one of Breckenridge’s best fire pits and one of the only spots to play the game Stump. And, their back deck offers prime sunset watching as well as outdoor dining options. Pizza from the Stag’s brick oven is some of the tastiest around and is available late night. Don’t forget to try their happy hour with specials like peel and eat your own shrimp and yummy wings.
RMU (Rocky Mountain Underground)
Arguably Breck’s most unique bar, RMU is a tavern, outdoor outfitter, beer garden, retail store, gallery, music venue and lets you bring your own food to their bar. Their front deck is almost as popular as the Tiki bar out back. It’s no wonder that RMU is probably Breck’s hottest spot for fun in the sun and after dark.
Seven’s
Before a crazy night on the town – enjoy a relaxing dinner and prep for your adventure! Located in the Grand Lodge at the base of Peak 7, Seven’s features a Stone Hearth pizza oven and full bar. There is even a “quick service window” for skiers and riders who want to grab a quick meal. Make sure you are fueled-up and ready to handle whatever comes your way.
Cecilia’s
If marathon dancing and late night drink specials are right up your alley, head over to Cecilia’s on the south side of town. On Thursday nights, bartenders will pour $1 cocktails from 10-11 p.m.. You don’t have to break the bank to break it down on the dance floor as live DJs spin all night long. View their website for information on events and don’t forget to bring your dancing shoes!
Downstairs at Eric’s
If you’re here with the whole family or if you just enjoy arcade games, Downstairs at Eric’s is your go-to place to be this Spring Break. Kids will enjoy the game room while Mom and Dad sit back and enjoy a thirst-quenching beer from Eric’s impressive beer menu – all while watching their favorite sports team after a long day on the slopes. Adults can enjoy their beverages and bar food while trying their luck at games, too.
Blue River Bistro
How about smooth jazz and a martini, shaken not stirred? Try the Blue River Bistro, a classy joint located on the north end of town. The Bistro does two happy hours nightly, featuring 2-for-1 martinis and 2-for-1 appetizers. Kick back to live Jazz and Blues musicians and enjoy the end of a successful day on the mountain!
Napper Tandys Irish Pub
Another not-to-miss nightlife spot in Breckenridge is Napper Tandy’s Irish Pub. With events like Ladies Night and 80s Night, it’s a party at Nappers every night of the week. Their outdoor deck comes complete with a fire pit and a great view. Challenge your friends to a game of Big Buck Hunter or pool while munching on some wings and potato skins.
Gold Pan
Step back in history as you enter the swinging doors of the Gold Pan Saloon and you’ll feel as if you’ve gone back in time. Opened in 1879, the Gold Pan is rumored to have the longest standing liquor license west of the Mississippi. Live music, drink specials, bar games and more, the Gold Pan will satisfy any Spring Break outing.
