Breck Updates 2017-2018

We’re running full speed ahead into the 2017-2018 season and we’re bringing you new upgrades!
Here are the top four new highlights you need to check out at Breck as we continue to elevate and enhance our guest experience.

Falcon SuperChair – Peak 10

Falcon SuperChair on Peak 10 was replaced this summer with a brand new high-speed six-passenger lift. Now advanced skiers and riders can reach Peak 10 faster than ever to access the fun and challenging terrain of Peak 10.

 

Candy Corner – Peak 9

Do you ever miss feeling like a kid in a candy store? Designed to remind you of an old-fashioned candy shop, Breck’s Candy Corner at the top of Quicksilver SuperChair is for the young and the young at heart. Kids love experience and adults ogle over the assorted bulk candies including salt water taffy, gummies of all kinds, chocolate malt balls and more. Satisfy your sweet tooth at on Peak 9.

 

Pioneer Crossing – Peak 7

Our new 490-seat restaurant on Peak 7, Pioneer Crossing, opened for the 2016-2017 season just steps from the top of Independence Chair. The contemporary 17,500-square foot dining destination provides spectacular views with southeast facing floor-to-ceiling windows. Slopeside fare ranges from made-to-order salads, to a mediterranean station, to upscale campfire grub. You won’t even miss a beat in your day when you treat yourself for a mid-day break without a trip to the base.

 

Breck Guides Series

Introducing our newest skills series, Breck Guides. Three options vary from half to full days with a Breck Guide fine tuning your abilities, growing your confidence, and expanding your knowledge of Breck’s 5 peaks.

• Elevate is a full day experience for those looking to conquer the next step in technique advancement. Focus on the skills you want to improve whether it’s carving or hitting the park.
• Explore is a half-day spent learning Breck on your terms. Your guide with show you the ins and outs of the best chutes and secret powder stashes. After you have the insider’s scoop on the where to go, spend the rest of the day skiing or riding like a local.
• Go Beyond provides a boundary pushing full day immersive adventure. This guided experience is not for the faint of heart and takes you to the toughest terrain. You’ll gain basic backcountry skills and understand more about avalanche control after meeting with Ski Patrol.
