Terrain Update and How to Make First Tracks

Hey Brent here to let you know we have had a great week of snow and this means more terrain is now open.  December 15th saw the T-Bar open and December 16th Peak 7 and 6-Chair opened.

Thanks to the foot of fresh snow that fell on Wednesday, December 14th, Breck is now at 99 percent snowfall average to date for the season and more than 173 percent for the monthly average. The forecast looks good as another major storm is expected to move in on Friday December 16 pushing snowfall totals even higher.

Starting Friday December 16th, Breck will shift to winter morning operating schedule and a majority of lifts will open at 8:30am. Check at the base of all lifts for operating hours and remember hours are subject to change due to conditions.

Also beginning on Friday December 16th is the First Tracks Fridays program.  Want to get on the mountain an hour before everyone else? Looking at the forecast we have a major storm moving in Friday, December 16. This storm is expected to bring major snowfall to the area. Temperatures are dropping over night into the low to middle teens for the next few days! So bring those layers to keep yourself warm.
