Last week marked the first contest of the season at Breck, The Hartford Ski Spectacular. Athletes with various disabilities competed in ski, snowboard and monoski races. Personally, this was one of the best events I have watched. The comradery with each other and their passion for the mountains is something we should all aspire to. Even though the event is over if you want to learn about the Hartford Ski Spectacular check here.
The next contest of the season in the Dew Tour which begins on Thursday, Dec 8th and runs through Sunday, Dec 11th.
