MTN Dew Spring Open Recap

Spring Fever got heated with an all new park competition this year, The MTN Dew Spring Open! Open to any competitor who wanted to step to the Park Lane jump line, we saw local legends and groms throwing down with the pros.

The weather couldn’t have been better for the first edition of the MTN Dew Spring Open and the competitors were flying high with Peak 8 providing the perfect back drop.

We saw some amazing skiing and riding. Double Corks, 1080s, Double Wildcats, and even some snow skate action could all be witnessed in Park Lane.

 

In the end Breckenridge locals Eric Willett & Keri Herman took top honors for the Men’s Snowboard and Women’s Ski categories respectively.

Serena Shaw & Ethan Swadburg also finished atop the podium for the women’s snowboard & Men’s Ski Categories. With the competition complete everybody took a few laps and enjoyed the sunshine before heading down for awards & apres on the T-Bar deck. The first MTN DEW Spring Open personified why Breckenridge & Spring Fever are amazing amazing: great weather, good friends, good skiing, and tons of fun!
