Best Happy Hour in Breck

It’s been a long day riding on the mountain, you’re sunburnt, hungry and thirsty. A cold beer sounds pretty good right about now, doesn’t it? Here is a look at some of the best Happy Hour spots in Breckenridge.

For a fancy, Victorian-themed Happy Hour, head up to the lounge at the Hearthstone Restaurant. From 4:00PM-6:00PM daily, take a dollar off all beers, wines and enjoy discounted specialty cocktails like the Barrel Aged Manhattan and Dark ‘n Stormy. Small plates are only five dollars and include Colorado Lamb Meatballs and Crispy Colorado Goat Cheese.

For one of my personal favorite happy hour spots, with good wine, snacks and lovely bar tenders, check out Twist. In the bar area from 4:00PM-6:00PM enjoy $5.00 plates like Grilled Caesar Salad and Pumpkin Mac-n-Cheese. Creative drink specials and wine specials top off this spot’s offerings.

Soak up the sun on the deck of Kenosha Steak House. Known for their eleven rotating craft beers that change on a weekly basis, you wont go thirsty here. Enjoy Happy Hour from 3:00PM-6:00PM daily, featuring snacks like sliders and hummus,  and $1.00 off wine, wells and draft beers.

If instant gratification is what you need, ski right up to the T-Bar. Located at the base of Peak 8, the T-Bar offers great views of the mountain, plentiful sunshine on the deck, bumping beats and cold beers. Daily food and drink specials reward the weary skier, boarder and visitor.

Grab your sombrero and head to Mi Casa for margaritas, tacos and popular wing baskets. You can’t beat free chips and salsa while you wait for a fresh squeezed marg made with tequila from the largest selection in Summit County. Happy Hour starts at 3:00PM in the Cantina, get there early to ensure a table or bar stool.

Located on the north end of Main Street, the Blue River Bistro hosts two daily Happy Hours, starting at 3:00PM-6:00PM and then again at 9:00PM to midnight. With an extensive martini list, my favorite is the Basil Greyhound, enjoy 2-for-1 martinis, $3 beers and two-for-one appetizers.
