What’s happening at Breck during March

The season may be starting to wind down, but the sun is shining, the snow is still great (with more to come!) and there are so many fun events happening in Breck this month! March is the start of Spring Fever and the Bud Light Concert Series as well as other concerts, many contests, and lots of entertainment opportunities. Check out what’s happening in Breck:
The Long Run: A Tribute to the Eagles
March 5
Head to the Riverwalk Center for a tribute to one of the most iconic bands of the 70s, The Eagles. Proceeds from the night go to the Domus Pacis Family Respite.
March 6
This is another wonderful concert held in the Riverwalk Center. The Revivalists are a seven piece high octane rock band from New Orleans.
Contest Bowl Big Mountain Comp
March 12
Hosted by the Breckenridge Ski & Snowboard School, students and regional clubs will showcase their skills in an intro level youth competition. This big mountain style event will be held in Contest Bowl and contestants will be judged on their style, fluidity and line choice.
Five Peaks Mountaineering Race
March 12
This race is North America’s longest ski mountaineering race! Teams of two will cover 10,000 feet of vertical as they climb and descend Peaks 7-10.
March 12
Swing by the Breckenridge Arts District and various participating galleries, restaurants and shops for a free showcase of arts and entertainment. There will also be live music, craft beverages, studio demos, and a variety of activities.
March 13
The Summit Foundation hosts a free entry level race to introduce alpine racing to kids ages 6-14.
Jay’s Straightjacket Challenge
March 16
Can you beat Jay? “I’ll beat you wearing a straightjacket or with both hands behind my back.” This is a day of EpicMix Racing, run by longtime local Jay Debaggis to raise money for Mountain Mentors, a Summit County youth mentoring program.
Lewis Black: The Emperor’s New Clothes, The Naked Truth Tour

March 18
Comedian Lewis Black comes the the Riverwalk Center in March. Don’t miss his hilarious rants on current events, social media, politics and so much more!
GoPro IFSA Big Mountain Challenge
March 18-20
This big mountain competition is held on Breckenridge’s Sixth Senses terrain on Peak 6. This is a spectator friendly event, so come watch top ranked freeskiers compete for points in the IFSA series.
March 18- April 17
One of the biggest parties in the Rocky Mountains, this is a month-long spring break party to end the season with a bang! Check the Bud Light concert series too, featuring Michael Franti & Spearhead, Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real and Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue!
March 23
Enjoy a guided snowshoe tour with the Gold Run Nordic Center under the full moon!
