I checked the conditions from Vista Haus this morning, and I was welcomed with sunny skies and relatively warm temperatures with little to no wind – a very pleasant blue bird day!
Don’t forget to pack the sunscreen and the shades, as there is no shortage of sun today! Well, before the clouds (predictably) roll in this afternoon with some snow from Ullr and Mother Nature, that is! There’s snow in the forecast for tonight. The weather is great for extending your day on the mountain, as the high temperature today will be into the 30s. As for the rest of the week, you can expect more snow. There’s up to an inch of snow predicted tomorrow with 2 – 4 inches likely for tomorrow night.
I chose to take Springmeier to Four O’Clock, as the views off Four O’Clock into town are spectacular! Both runs were freshly groomed and perfect for cruising.
Coming into Breck in the next week? Ullr Fest starts a week from tomorrow on Jan. 13, and we here at Breckenridge Ski Resort couldn’t be more excited. There’s a whole list of events as there will be no shortage of fun! It’s one of the favorite events of Breck locals and travelers alike! There’s still time to score a great place to stay, as Breckenridge Ski Resort has some excellent options for staying close to town and all the wintertime action!
