The Independence SuperChair and Peak 7 open tomorrow
Corduroy lovers rejoice! The Independence SuperChair and access to seventy-five Peak 7 acres opens tomorrow. This high-speed six pack chair offers another base area location to get on the hill, and Peak 7 is known for its amazing groomed terrain. It’s the perfect spot to get your whole family out on the hill, or practice your carves in perfectly packed snow.
The snow message team ventured out onto Pioneer today, one of the Peak 7 trails that will open tomorrow. While the finishing grooming touches were not yet in place, we can report that the snow is riding great, making it easy to really dig in an edge. While Claimjumper has already been open from mid-point via Peak 8, it will now be open top to bottom so be sure to get the full experience.
More terrain reports to come as soon as we get them, but expect to see more openings before the holidays arrive.
Also, the Dew Tour is upon us! Get psyched to follow your favorite ski and snowboard athletes as they compete for gold in the 2015 Winter Dew Tour at Breckenridge.
