Welcome to Breck

Post-Thanksgiving snow is here

<>
With two inches of snow in the past day added to two over the last 48 hours, there is plenty of powder to be had this Saturday at Breckenridge Ski Resort. Snow is still coming down and is paired with a slight breeze. One to three inches of snow is in the forecast to accumulate over the course of the day.

Conditions are good on Upper Four O’Clock run and feature a groomed, soft powder overlay – perfect for linking smooth turns all the way down the run. Upper Four O’clock is and exciting blue run that feeds into the park Lane Terrain Park or Trygve’s Park and back to Peak 8.

The weather report for the rest of the weekend features a chance of more snow tonight and up to six inches on Sunday. Be sure to check out our Facebook page as we’ll let you know just how much snow Breck receives over the course of 24 hours.

Get your runs in today and work up your appetite for Thanksgiving leftovers – or – if you’re tired of Thanksgiving Day fare, stop in to Ski Hill Grill at the base of Peak 8 for some lunchtime tacos, pizzas or a variety of pastas. Not a ski or snowboard fan? There’s still tons to do at Breckenridge Ski Resort. The Gold Runner Alpine Coaster is now open and features 2,500 feet of coaster tracks. You can control your own speed through the forest and over the ski runs in the two-seater coaster. Sounds like a great time to us!
