Beaver Run SuperChair, Bonanza is now open

We here at Breckenridge Ski Resort are excited to announce Beaver Run SuperChair is now open on Peak 9. While Thanksgiving is just one day away, skiers and boarders were taking advantage of the lift’s debut. Breckenridge staff was especially excited about the opening, as they were getting the crowd pumped up to catch the lift with fun facts and jokes.The run of the day is Bonanza – an exciting blue that was perfectly groomed and ready for opening. Snow machines added to the 21-inch base and gave the run extra smoothness for linking turns. It was another blue bird day on the mountain with a slight breeze and tons of sunshine – a perfect day for opening the Beaver Run SuperChair and Bonanza!

As equally exciting as opening a new lift for the season, the forecast calls for snow late tonight and into tomorrow. The Breckenridge snow report calls for chances of snow tonight and up to one inch tomorrow and up to an additional inch tomorrow evening. As more snow falls, look out for updates on new terrain openings. We’re excited to explore new runs as they become available.

With the upcoming snow forecast, conditions should be ideal for those coming out on Thanksgiving to spend some quality time on the mountain.
