Run of the day: Northstar

Just off Peak 8 at Breckenridge Ski Resort, Northstar is an exciting blue run with breathtaking eastern views. With 21 inches of snow in the past week, runs like Northstar have good conditions for a fun run down the mountain. Sunshine paired with slight breezes make for a nice trip up the Colorado SuperChair to the Northstar run. Groomed, packed snow is plentiful and creates a good foundation for making smooth turns. The initial decent into the run is exhilarating, while the favorable conditions allow for stability.

Northstar levels out and Merges with Duke’s run to bring you back to the base. After the run, be sure to stop by Ski Hill Grill at the base of Peak 8 for lunch and après. There’s no better spot around to bask in the sun, share a ski story or two, and enjoy the fun atmosphere and gorgeous backdrop of Peak 8.

Clear days and blue skies are in store for the beginning of the week, with the possibility of snow returning Wednesday night and into Thursday and Friday.
