Welcome to Breck

6 inches for the first week of the season

Snow Alert! Get your snow gear ready!

As we wrap up another successful opening weekend here at Breck, Ullr decided to dump 6 inches in 24 hours, 2 of which fell overnight. This morning we awoke to a resort in the clouds, and snow still continues to fall. If you thought the conditions were good this past weekend, you need to get here to enjoy the new snow we receive this week! With Ullr’s late visit, Breck now has five trails open and three lifts to choose from. Keep checking back to find out which new terrain is planned to be opened. We are excited to be skiing this awesome terrain early in the season, and looking forward to more terrain openings soon.

Today was the first day of the season for the snow message team, who couldn’t wait to get out and test out the previous night’s bounty. The snowcat operators did a fantastic job with the trails we have open, but still left some untouched powder in the Duke’s gully for us to find. Even though most of the new snow did fall before night grooming operations, the corduroy was soft and carvey, just like the snow models like it!

After your legs are burning from skiing, make sure to refuel with some food and refreshments at one of our on-mountain dining options. For the most up to date snow and terrain report sign up to be added to our email list to get then news first.

There are only FIVE more days to get your 2015-2016 Epic Pass. Ski unlimited days at all the Vail Resorts colorado, Utah and California mountains! It’s looking like a very snowy season, so why not try to hit them all!
