Spring Break in Breck is the epitome of the college skier. Boasting world-cklass skiing and one of the liveliest mountain ski towns in North America, Breckenridge is your Spring Break destination for rocking outdoor concerts Concert 2014and a rowdy downtown nightlife where the party stops just long enough for some bottomless powder action on Peak 6. Follow this quick guide to plan your attack for the most memorable week away from classes possible.
Most important preperation you could make is where to pick your lodging. Staying close to town and the slopes is of paramount importance in order to maximize your fun tickets. Both One Ski Hill Place at the base of Peak 8 and Crystal Peak Lodge at the base of Peak 7 have ski-in ski-out amneties, a gondola which will whisk you down to town, as well as a free shuttle service for a lift duOne Ski Hill Place, A RockResort, Breckenridge, Colorado - Exterior-winterring some of those later hours. The Hilton Doubletree is also a great option for more access to the Peak 9 and 10 side of the mountain.

 

During your days on the mountain, make sure to explore Breck’s newest terrain on Peak 6 before making your way back to Peak 8 for Breck’s Spring Fever festivities including a retro-style halfpipe snowboard competition and our free concert series with headliners such as Third Eye Blind, Eric Paslay, American Authors, and The InfaThrowback Throwdownmous Stringdusters.

 

For happy hour, take the gondola over to Seven’s on Peak 7 or head over to the base of Peak 9 for tacos and margs at Mi Casa.

 

After your post-happy hour college student nap, turn up at the bars on South Main Street. Serving as Breck’s premier nightclub, Cecilia’s is always a good place if you want to dance, but Liquid Lounge and Brooklyn’s are great options as well.
