It’s dumping snow at Breck! [video]

This morning, Breckenridge had a wonderful surprise snow globe effect. With much of the mountain and town not expecting to see any accumulation until this evening, the flurries started flying right about sunrise.

With so much snow coming down so fast, we had to get out and check out the goods on T-Bar. By the time we got out there at 10am, 4 inches of snow had already fallen and boy, was it showing no signs of letting up.

Everyone was out having a ball in their own slice of winter wonderland and no sooner after our first run down Cucumber Bowl, could we hear the hoots and hollering of skiers and riders getting their fair share of face shots through the woods.

From snowballs being thrown and powder slashes being had, mother nature certainly proved why it pays to be a mid-week skier.
