Welcome to Breck

Bluebird powder days at Breck

After a few days of snow and surprise powder days, Mother Nature took her chalk eraser to the sky in brining us one of the more incredible bluebird powder days of the season. There was literally not a single cloud in the sky today and with no lift lines skiers and snowboarders could be heard hooting and hollering all morning as they slashed powder up and down the T-Bar terrain.

This morning’s Run of the Day was Ptarmigan, an open glade tree run to the skier’s left of Pika. Ptarmigan is one of our snow reporter’s favorite runs in that area as it usually takes longer to get tracked out than many of the other runs around it.

The snow covered trees glistening under the rising sun made for a surreal experience which was made all the more incredible when one of Breck’s local red foxes decided to join us on our ski down through the trees.

This weekend is forecasted to have amazing sunny weather, so stop making excuses and find your way to Breckenridge for a truly epic experience.
