Welcome to Breck

T-Bar is open for the season

We have a lot to be grateful here at Breckenridge Ski Resort, especially good snow! Over the course of the Thanksgiving Break we had multiple days in a row where we received over six inches of snow in a 24 hour period, which led to some pretty great powder days just in time for the big turkey dinner. Due to the fortunate snowfall and the hard work from our ski patrol staff, we were able to open the T-Bar to the public this weekend. As of this Monday, most of the T-Bar bowl runs have gotten to see skier and snowboarder tracks on them including; Contest Bowl, Horseshoe Bowl, Pika, Ptarmigan, White Crown and Forget-me-not.

Our snow reporter, Nick Pease, had the chance to get up there with some of our patrons who were all experiencing everything besides a “case of the Mondays.” We took two runs down the center of Horseshoe Bowl, which had packed powder conditions. There were only a few groups out there, leaving trails relatively untracked for most of the morning.

Stay tuned for our latest terrain openings and updates, or follow the links on our website for our complete events calendar. Winter is in full effect here at Breck, so come out to ski and ride some of the best mountains that Colorado has to offer.

If you are looking for even more mountain excitement than usual, then you need to check out the Dew Tour Mountain Championships, presented by Mountain Dew. Celebrating its ten-year anniversary, the Dew Tour will return to Breck December 11-14. The event runs for four days, with snowboard and freeski competitions, live concerts and an interactive Dew Tour Experience – featuring athlete meet and greets, games, and giveaways.

It is going to be a great season!
