Mountain bike at Breck this summer [video]

Sensational Rocky Mountain scenery and that famous Colorado sunshine make an irresistible combination for mountain biking. Breckenridge Ski Resort offers a wide network of trails for varying levels of difficulty with the convenience of lift access on Peaks 7 and 8 via the Independence SuperChair and Rip’s Ride chairlift.

Whether you’re new to the sport of mountain biking or regularly rip up the singletrack around Colorado, Breckenridge summer activities offer experiences perfect for anyone. Breck offers lessons for beginner and intermediate mountain bike skill levels daily. In from out of town? Rent a bike and ride the lift or scope out the trails around town.

Lessons are designed to introduce riders to the sport or offer further confidence and guidance for new riders still developing their skills. This class will get you ready for riding on your own. Our guides will utilize our skills track to demonstrate the techniques needed to navigate our mountain trails. Take the lesson as a family to understand your ability levels and get to know our trails with the safety of an experienced guide. This lesson will open up the possibility of many adventures in our spectacular mountain environment!

There is terrain for all ages and skills at Breck! Ride the Independence SuperChair for intermediate and advanced trail riding. For those just starting out, Whirl off of Rip’s Ride provides an amazing and exciting learning trails, complete with bumps, dips and berms.

Why heave and ho your way up the mountain when you can ride in style? Load your bike onto the Independence SuperChair at the base of Peak 7 and then traverse over to Peak 8 and downhill mountain bike across any of our awesome trails.
