Breck’s Fourth of July Weekend

With warm sunny skies in the forecast and the Breck Summer Fun Park in full swing, Breckenridge Ski Resort is excited to share that the Ski Hill BBQ Station at the fun park opens Friday, July 4 and additional mountain biking trails are expected open just in time for the holiday weekend.
The Ski Hill BBQ Station is a popular dining option in the winter and will return this Friday for summer, open daily starting at 11 a.m. through Labor Day weekend. Located on Peak 8, the BBQ station features in-house smoked meats and homemade style sides like smoke and braised baby back ribs and grilled corn on the cob, with butter, salt and parmesan cheese. Take the free BreckConnect Gondola from town to enjoy the food and fun all summer long at the Breckenridge Fun Park.
In addition to the BBQ station opening, Breck is likely to open four more mountain biking trails for the holiday weekend. With the opening of these trails, bikers will be able to access over 60 percent of the resort’s mountain biking trails via the Independence Chair on Peak 7.

Whirl – 0.5 miles
Intermediate
Swinger – 4 miles
Pioneer – 3.3 miles
Breakaway – 0.2 miles
Expert
Dwight’s – 2.4 miles

Wanderer – 3.7 miles
Prospector – 1 mile
Expert
Game Trail – 3.0 miles
Wagon Trail – 1 mile
No Bike, No Worries

Fourth of July Weekend in Breck
On Friday, July 4, Breck’s professional fireworks show will be set off from the center of town around 9:45 p.m. and can be visible from all over town.
