Asher’s letter to his mom

Dear Mom,
What would the world be without you? You’re the backbone to the whole family. You keep everyone in line, and are always there when we are in need. Although not the most affectionate mother, you love us in more ways then we need. From all the amazing home cooked meals, the fun trips we get to go on, and how much you care for each and every one of us is the best.
I couldn’t thank you enough for what you do for my snowboarding. Without you mom, none of this would be possible. You work for me to travel all around to different contests and I couldn’t be more thankful. To have a mom that supports my dream is more than I can ask for. Its pushes me to go for it even more and make my dream come true.
When bad days come around, you are always there telling me the right things, that help me get back on the horse and keep going. You are an athlete yourself and you always know what I’m going through. It’s not just my snowboarding, but its ours. We are in this together. I thank you so much for all that you have ever done for the family and me. Words can’t even 
describe how blessed we are to have you as our Mom.
You deserve your own day more than anyone (well dad too, but his isn’t till later). I’m sorry I cant be there to celebrate, but just know I am very thankful for all you do for me and you are truly a blessing.
