Welcome to Breck

What not to miss in Breck this month

Spring in Breck

Breckenridge is the place to be during the month of April. What’s better than sunny weather, slushy snow in the parks and great music? Breck will be showcasing numerous bands during the month of April, as well as keeping their park chair open until 5:00 p.m. on Fridays. On top of all of the great activities and events being hosted in Breck, they have also been receiving more and more snow. In mid-April there was a 15 inch snow day, with more snow expected through the remainder of April!

All month long, Breckenridge will be holding their annual Breckenridge Film Festival. They are premiering the films “ The Scenic Route” and “ Antarctica: A Year On Ice.” There will be new films playing every week so make sure to stay tuned and find out what is playing.

Every Friday Breck will also be holding their traditional 5 ’til 5’s Terrain Park Happy Hours for all your “park rats” out there. They will be serving free hot dogs and putting on fun little rail jams for your chance to show your skills and win a free Epic Pass for next season.

Breck Spring Fever 2014

Breckenridge will be hosting the Bud Light Concert Series on April 12, 13, 18, and 19 with a different band each day. They are featuring four major artists – Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, Gin Blossoms, Yonder Mountain String Band, and Blues Traveler.

Thanks to all the snow we have received this season Breckenridge has decided to extend their season by one more week. The mountain will now be open until April 27. More time for you to get those last couple turns in or learn a couple new tricks. Breck will offer a specially-priced, $66 lift ticket for purchase at the ticket windows (and $60 online).

So make sure you are coming to visit us as much as you can this month. We have lots of fun activities going on and you wouldn’t want to miss any of them. If you need further more information make sure to check out their website at Breckenridge.com. We look forward to spending the amazing spring with you. See you on the hill
