Hope on the Slopes Returns to Breckenridge on Saturday

Hope on the Slopes at Breck 2014

Are you ready to make a difference?

The ninth annual Hope on the Slopes (HOTS) cancer fundraising event returns to Breckenridge Ski Resort this Saturday, February 22, 2014 to provide skiers and snowboarders an opportunity to make a day of skiing or riding more meaningful by raising money and awareness for the American Cancer Society, the nation’s number one non-profit contributor of funds for cancer research. This year’s event at Breck is targeting 300 participants to raise $300,000 as well as to remember and honor those affected by cancer. Last year’s Hope on the Slopes event at Breck raised $250,000.

Hope on the Slopes also allows teams and individuals to compete for fantastic prizes in two categories: dollars raised through fundraising and an EpicMix Ski/Snowboarding Competition. Friends, family and colleagues are encouraged to form teams to make every run count towards the fight against cancer. Participants should register at Hope on the Slopes, where they will also be eligible for discounted lift tickets and equipment rentals. Discounted lift tickets for the HOTS event are $50 for adults & $35 for youths. (valid Feb 22, 2014 only).
