Check out Peak 10 this holiday season

Breckenridge’s Peak 10 boasts intermediate and advanced terrain that will challenge any skier. Take a lap down “The Burn” or “Corsair” to make room for more Christmas cookies and eggnog.

Take a day off from the hill

Visit the Breckenridge Ice Castle – slated to open after Christmas. Located in the Riverwalk Center parking lot, the highest Ice Castle in the country at 9,600 feet will be all lit up for the holidays and is sure to entertain. Navigate through over 5,000 icicles at nighttime for an unforgettable and unique experience.

Be romantic

Looking for a romantic evening during your holiday getaway? Get cozy and take an old-fashioned sleigh ride up from Peak 9 to enjoy a delightful dinner at Peak 10’s TenMile Station. With menu items such as pinon-stuffed rainbow trout and pecan-crusted rack of Colorado lamb, you’ll be ready for another day on the mountain.

Finish your shopping and enjoy some drinks

If you’re still searching for last minute gifts, enjoy the unique holiday shopping in Breckenridge. For all your skiing and riding needs, check out Breck Sports, with locations on the hill and on Main Street. Boutiques such as Valley Girl, Big City Blues and Beloved will satisfy the trend-conscious shopper looking for a unique find, while the Mountain Goat and Mountain Outfitters will equip the explorer in your life.

Enjoy happy hour at one of Breckenridge’s countless bars and bistros. Sit on the sun-drenched patio of the T-Bar and après ski like the pros or enjoy 2-for-1 martinis at the Blue River Bistro. From approximately 4-6 each night, relax like a local and belly up at your favorite bar.

Take a lesson from the experts at the Breckenridge Ski and Ride School

If it’s your first time out or you’re just looking to brush up on technique, hone your skills, earn EpicMix Pins and have a blast while exploring the mountain.

If downhill skiing isn’t your passion, visit the Breckenridge Nordic Center for world-class cross -country skiing and snowshoeing. Take a trip through miles of groomed trails and keep your eyes open for wildlife in the Cucumber Gulch Preserve.

Create your own adventure

Snowmobiling and dog sledding are just a few of the other activities you can enjoy during your holiday stay. Good Times Adventures offers a tour of the Swan River Valley, just North of town. Run the dogs and ride in the sled while enjoying a breath-taking tour of the valley.
