Breck Guides are your cheat sheet to Breck

Have you ever wondered where to find the best snow and how to make the most out of your day at Breckenridge? Have you ever thought about following a hiking trail at the top of the lift? Have you ever wanted to learn about how to safely travel in the back country or high alpine terrain and how to use a transceiver? What about where to find first tracks on a powder day?
If any of these questions have entered your mind, then “Breck Guides” is the experience you have been looking for. Our new guide program was created to cater to your needs and create a customized experience that will change the way you look at the mountain. They will bring you to the elusive “secret stashes” that Breck has to offer, while also educating you on how to safely and successfully travel in an alpine environment.
Guides are available throughout the world at premier destination resorts with “big” terrain. Breckenridge falls into that category, which is why we developed “Breck Guides.” It can take someone years to really understand a large resort like Breck and to consistently go where the conditions are the best. In addition, there is quite a bit of more advanced terrain that is off the beaten path and not readily accessible, but essentially, a guide can become your own personal cheat sheet on how to ski the mountain like a local would.
To round out the program, Breck will also be offering early loads on some of our high alpine lifts (before the mountain is open!).
The best snow, first tracks, education in back country travel, learn to use a transceiver, intro to snow science, secret stashes, and much more. Hire your personal Breck Guide today.
Program to launch in December 2013. For more information call Breck Ski and Ride School Reservations on (888) LRN-2SKI or 970-496-3272.
