Peak 9 opens Saturday

Breckenridge Ski Resort will open Peak 9 this coming Saturday, Nov. 23. Skiers can expect  full base area services, including ski & ride school and on-mountain dining at Ten Mile Station and The Maggie.

Trail openings include Silverthorne,King’s Way via the Quicksilver SuperChair, as well as Crosscut, and lower Sawmill via the Snowflake lift. The Peak 8 SuperConnect for will be open to allow back and forth skiable access between Peak 8 and Peak 9. Groomers at Breck

Celebrate Peak 9 and Ten Mile station opening Saturday November 23 for a party on the patio! DJ Starvros will be spinning everybody’s favorite tunes from 12-3 pm. Come for drink specials, and play ski boot twister or compete in the hula hoop contest for prizes sponsored by Budweiser.

Breck requires all skiers and riders to observe all posted signs and warnings. Closed trails may contain hazards due to limited natural snow coverage and snowmaking operations. Peak 9 Lodging – The Double Tree by Hilton Breckenridge

The Double Tree by Hilton Breckenridge is the perfect lodging location to experience Peak 9. The hotel is situated directly across the street from Peak 9, has undergone a two year, complete renovation of all 208 guest rooms, meeting rooms, event space and public areas. The full-service hotel offers spectacular mountain views within a short walk of the Quicksilver SuperChair and Beaver Run SuperChair, as well as historic Main Street Breckenridge.

Thanksgiving in Breck

Enjoy Thanksgiving at Sevens Restaurant  – the only on-mountain dining option in Breck for the holiday! Sevens is located at the base of Peak 7, with a stunning patio and gorgeous views of the resort and the town. The special Thanksgiving Prix Fixe menu includes all the fixings of a home cooked meal without the hassle. Reservations are recommended; please call 970-496-8910.

Breckenridge guests also have the option of a Prix Fixe Thanksgiving style menu at the 9600 Kitchen inside the DoubleTree by Hilton Breckenridge from 3 – 9:00 p.m. Reservations are recommended and can be made at 970-547-5520.

  15. @Cory, not tomorrow, but extremely soon! and @Mike, Snowflake Chair will be open, but not the return trail yet down to the base of that lift.
