Olive Fusion comes to the Ski Hill Grill

Breck’s Ski Hill Grill is putting a new spin on salads with the help of Olive Fusion.  Chef Sebastian Lizarzaburu was intrigued by Olive Fusion, a local purveyor of gourmet oils and vinegars, and visited the store to sample some of the 18 flavored olive oils, 10 of the freshest olive oils available from around the world, 27 balsamics imported from Modena Italy and 6 specialty oils such as black and white truffle oils, toasted sesame, almond and walnut oils.

Chef Sebastian had been looking to enhance his salad bar with healthier, fresher, and more flavorful alternatives, and  Olive Fusion’s products were just what he had been searching for.  He met with the owners of Olive Fusion and together they designed some truly innovative salads. This collaboration led to a new selection of greens paired with hand selected oils and balsamics meant to compliment the dynamic creations now offered.  One example is a crisp spinach salad with mouthwatering basil olive oil and strawberry balsamic.

Chef Sebastian and his culinary team are constantly exploring new flavors to entice the palates of Breckenridge visitors,  providing them with fresh and flavorful meals that fuel their mountain adventures.  It’s a healthy, fresh alternative with exciting new flavors. These products are Organic, Gluten Free and GMO free, providing a daily diet with the healthy benefits it needs via monounsaturated fat and low sugar. A new line of salads are coming to the Ski Hill Grill this summer, so come taste these fresh, seasonal flavors for yourself!
