Five inches of new snow falls on Breck: Mar. 9, 2013

We have received five inches of new snow overnight at Breckenridge and it’s really showing out there. The storm rolled in late last night and it looks like it’ll stick around into Saturday night. Ullr, the norse god of winter, has been very kind to us lately. Let’s show him our appreciation by getting out there and shredding that fresh pow!    What does 5 inches of fresh snow look like before the chairlifts start running? A bit like this:

     My first run was around 8:30 am and it was awesome!
