The best Spring Break bars in Breck
In a town with over 70 liquor licenses, it is a hard task to narrow down the best Spring Break bars in Breckenridge. However, after some extensive research, here is a look at some of the best places to quench your thirst after a long day of spring skiing.
T-Bar
For the best in slopeside après, check out the T- Bar at the base of Peak 8. Sit on the patio and soak in the afternoon sunshine while enjoying Taco Tuesdays (three tacos for $15), Mimosa Mondays ($6), and $4 beers and $.75 wings on Sundays. Don’t miss the gondola ride down!
Breckenridge Brewery
Enjoy Breck’s flagship Brewery, boasting delicious trademark beers such as Breckenridge Avalanche, Vanilla Porter, and Agave Wheat. From après skiing to late night drinks, the Brewery is always a happening place.
Gold Pan
Take a step back into time at the Gold Pan Saloon. Built in 1879, the Gold Pan is the longest continuously running liquor license west of the Mississippi River, and the oldest bar in Breckenridge. Back in early mining days, the Saloon marked the southernmost end of town. Today it sits in the middle, nestled among shops on historic Main Street. Check out Open Mic Night on Tuesdays and celebrity DJs on Saturdays.
Cecelia’s
Enjoy afternoon martinis or late night dancing at this popular nightclub. On Mondays, get ready for a night out at Power Hour: $1 premiums from 11:00pm to midnight. If the late night dance scene isn’t your thing, Cecelia’s also offers their extensive martini list for half off every day between 2:00pm and 9:00pm.
Napper Tandy’s Irish Pub
With deals like $3 pitchers from 5:00-7:00pm, Napper Tandy’s is a great Spring Break hangout, located above the Salt Creek Steakhouse. Friday night is Ladies’ Night; ladies drink free from 9:00-11:00pm. Pool tables, big screen TVs, and live music make this bar a Break favorite. Don’t miss the Six Million Dollar Band playing on 80’s Night.
Blue River Bistro
If dance clubs and rowdy happy hours aren’t on the agenda, step into the classy Blue River Bistro. Known by locals for the extensive happy hour and delicious cocktails, the Bistro offers one of the largest martini lists in town. Enjoy 2 for 1 martinis and appetizers twice daily from 3:00pm to 6:00pm and from 9:00pm to close. Try the Cucumber Gulch Martini, a local favorite.
The Dredge
Experience part of Breckenridge’s old mining history at the Dredge. This two million pound floating restaurant and bar is a replica of the largest and longest running dredge boat, which ceased operations where you see it today, in 1942. The upstairs bar is great for those with a passion for pool, darts and drink specials.
Ollie’s Pub & Grub
Ollie’s is a local hangout with all the sports TV you could possibly watch. Great food, games, and bar specials make Ollie’s the place to be for a big game.
