Snowboard Slopestyle (M)
The gray bird sky presented all the riders with difficult lighting for the competition Thursday afternoon. Unfortunately, Eric did not advance, but he did get other opportunities to show his incredible talent later on in the X Games.
Snowboard Big Air (M)
Kicked off his runs with a smooth double cork following with a cab 1260 in his 3rd best run. He just missed the final run but definitely made Big Air look effortless.
Ski Slopestyle (M/W)
James Woods and Bobby Brown both locked down spots in the Men’s Ski Slopestyle final with strong 1st and 4th place consecutive finishes in the elimination round.
Put down a strong first run landing him a top score of 88.66 in the final. He walked away with a sixth place finish.
The X Games rookie, rounded out the podium with a third place finish Aspen. His best run included a left double cork 10, a rightside double cork 12 truck driver and a switch right 10, locking down an award winning score of 92.00.
Missed claiming a podium spot by only one point but sealed down her second run with an 88.33. Keri walked away with 5th place and the huge smile we all love her for.
Did not ski due to a minor concussion.
Men’s Ski Big Air
Smoothly landing both a triple 1440 and a switch double misty 1440, Bobby finished with an 86.00 in 4th place.
